Following an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, Helmut Kurth studied engineering and business science and worked for a number of years in the public sector after completing his studies, working in planning and coordination for municipal civil engineering."Technology and economic efficiency are inseparable partners." He gained solid practical experience over more than 20 years in a managerial function, being responsible for planning, site management, calculations, tendering for and implementing municipal construction work, residential, commercial and industrial structures, in a large construction company with a main focus on turnkey construction.
In addition to his university work as both teaching and research, Helmut Kurth works as an appraiser for building damage in construction engineering and turnkey construction.
